Good Days, Not so Good Days

We were told to expect good days and bad days and that seems to be the case. Sunday the boys had trouble eating, yesterday they did great. This morning Noah in particular had alot of difficulty remembering to breathe when he's eating and Sam was a stubborn eater too. The Dr. may put Noah on some caffeine to help him remember. If so, he'll stay on it until 2 weeks past his due date and will be on an apnea monitor when he comes home with us.

The good news is that they continue to gain weight. In fact, Sam is now just above his birthweight at 4 lb 5 oz and some change. Sam is 3 lb 15 oz. And they continue to do well maintaining their body heat as the temperature in their isolettes is lowered.

oh and they seem to have the pooping down pat too. :)
