Learning every day
What's new? Let's see....
Sam is done with baby food. He doesn't want to be fed, he wants to feed himself and he doesn't want mushy stuff. He wants the real deal - chicken, peas, carrots, avocado, cheese -- you name it. Oh BLUEBERRIES!!! The kid can't get enough blueberries. It's so cute the way he shoves them in.
He had his first virus a week or so ago and he weighed in at 23 pounds at the Doctor! Noah had the same virus but it didn't affect him as much. Sam had a high fever and kept us up for a few nights. As you can also see by that picture, he is fascinated by buckles.
They are both still teething alot - all 4 uppers are in with more on the way. Noah likes the organic teething biscuits - in particular he likes to get them all over his face and hands - see below. They both loved their first Mexican meal on Sunday night. Although I'm not sure if more food ended up in their mouths or on the floor of the restaurant. Yep, we were those people. With the loud, messy kids.
They will kill me for posting this picture one day but who can resist baby bottoms????

Let's see - what else ??? They are both full fledged "cruisers." And both of them can stand for a few seconds without holding onto anything. I suspect that by Labor Day we'll have walkers. (AGH!! Does anyone have one of those baby leashes?? ) We're trying to transition them from 3 naps to 2 and also doing everything we can think of to convince them to sleep past 6 am. So far, no dice on the 6 am part...!
Next week 10 of us are going to the beach - the boys, me and Jon, Emily and her friend Elizabeth, Zack and his friend Areya, Kate and her friend Norma! That's alot of babysitters so hopefully it'll be a bit of vacation for everyone!!! We're taking 2 cars and half the house with us.
Their first birthday party will be Saturday September 15th. If anyone wants to visit, we've got room - just let us know.
